I'm planning to take the ITIL certification and noticed that Passcert offers both ITIL 4 Foundation and ITIL 5 Foundation materials. I'm not sure which one to choose. Since I'm starting fresh and don't have any specific employer requirements, would ITIL 5 be the better option?

If your organization or job role specifically requires ITIL 4 Foundation, then ITIL 4 is still a good choice. Otherwise, we recommend ITIL 5 Foundation, as it is the latest version and is expected to become the preferred certification requested by employers and job sites throughout mid to late 2026 and beyond.
